The experimental online magazine hq3.net redefined interface and content design for the Internet. Launched in 1998, it provided Apple and Macromedia, both clients of Helium 3 Ltd, with a dynamic platform to showcase a variety of latest web software.

hq3.net received a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) nomination for the first Interactive Entertainment Awards.
